The kind (?) folks at PHPWebHosting.com were nice enough to lose 100% of all of my data that I’ve had in the three years that I’ve been their customer.

All images. All code. All picture captions. All birthdays. All forum postings. Everything.

I came pretty close to just saying, “Forget it”. Rather than sit down and code all of that PHP again (reinventing the wheel) I’m just going to fall back on a blog system PHP-Nuke.

I’ll have the images back up at some point. More than likely I’ll never add captions again. They take far too long to do. The good thing about it is that posting images will be easier now, which should shorten the delay from event to posting.

Everybody will need to create a new user account. The forums will be backup in a few days.
